About A Way To Help
Too often it can be easy to miss the needs happening right here in our own backyard. Whether it’s a need for food/dinners for a week after a a medical procedure or illness, help with making a one-time payment for rent/childcare/medical bills/groceries, money for a school uniform, sports equipment, musical instruments, or even help with funding for gifts for holidays/birthdays for children, with A Way To Help we hope to meet these needs of our local kids and families — no matter how small the needs are. Sometimes it can be tough to get help from larger organizations for these smaller needs, so this non-profit has been created as a way to help fill those gaps and address these needs right here at home within our own community.

We believe in neighbors helping neighbors, and we believe that every child deserves a fulfilling and positive childhood. A Way To Help aims to create a safe space to share the needs of neighbors no matter how small, and uses grants gifted by fellow neighbors in our community to help address them. It’s a way we can can all pitch-in for each other; a way to make sure our kids don’t miss out on opportunities; a way for our community to better thrive; a way to help!
A Way To Help is a small-scale, non-religous/non-political/non-partisan and non-discriminatory non-profit. We are simply neighbors helping neighbors here in Central PA.
Some of the areas That we Can help with:
food and grocery gift card
medical bill payment
rent, utility bills one-time payment
heating/cooling or a home repair bill
vehicle repair bill
childcare bill
funding for kids’ camps/clubs/sports
clothing/uniforms
kids’ sports equipment, musical instruments, art supplies, etc.
kids’ holiday or birthday gifts
